About Us

Progetto Marconi

PROGETTO MARCONI is a non-profit association founded in 2012, specialised in training courses and development activities. The association offers a great variety of training courses, workshops and laboratories on various subjects, such as foreign languages, ICT, computer programming, accountancy, economics, tourism and many more. The association currently delivers training to more than 200 learners per year, aged from 18 to 65 years old, including young, adults, VET learners, apprentices, higher education learners and private companies. It also provides all-in-one support, from the balance of competences to the learning outcome assessment, as well as contractual procedures for new hires and professional growth planning projects together with different local partners.

The association is well-respected for the quality of their courses and their attentive consideration of individual needs in order to create equal opportunities for training, employment and social inclusion.

Since the beginning of the activities, the association has been building a strong and wide network at regional level, with local administrations, companies and professionals from different backgrounds, such as NGO, cultural associations, training institutions, companies, townships. Progetto Marconi is accredited by the Piedmont Regional government to deliver professional and vocational courses and is certified ISO 9001:2015. The association is also accredited to the fund FORMATEMP to deliver trainings to companies and employees.

Progetto Marconi participates in several European projects in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme and others. At the European level, the association is responsible for the development of trainings, teaching methodologies, training materials and contents to meet the needs of the projects’ target groups.

The Team

Danilo Rissone

co-founder and President

Danilo Rissone graduated in Economics at the University of Turin in 1996. Before founding Progetto Marconi, Danilo worked for more than 20 years in different training institutions. In June 2012 he founded Progetto Marconi and he is the president of the association.
He is responsible for the association’s project management and for the educational and administrative management of the trainings (both founded and not founded). He is also responsible for the management of relations with local authorities, the ISO Certification and all other Accreditation procedures.

Massimo Francone

co-founder and executive director

Massimo Francone graduated in Law at the University of Turin in 2005. He has worked as a legal advisor and as a trainer for different training institution specialised in vocational guidance. Since June 2012, he has been the co-founder and executive director of Progetto Marconi. He is currently responsible for the initiatives in support of the local enterprises and those concerning labour market policies.

Valeria Elia

project manager

Valeria Elia graduated in Economics and International Cooperation and Trade at the University of Turin. She has been working as a quality consultant for training companies since 2002 and has recently specialised in sustainable management and sustainability in education. She is a training courses developer and an evaluation and quality control expert. Over the last 15 years, she has designed and managed a variety of transnational projects (Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Asia Aid projects, Italy-Turkey cooperation project, EUROMED, EUROPE AID, Erasmus+). She is Progetto Marconi’s European project manager and she is also responsible for coaching the local staff.
