THE PROJECT

The ENREAC-HEI project involves 5 partners from as many European countries, specifically Cyprus, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland and Portugal. All partners are linked to the world of training and higher education. The project aims to promote and disseminate Open Science practices in the academic environment and to improve the skills of university students in the management of research activities.

OBJECTIVES

In order to promote Open Science practices and to enhance the skills of students related to research activities, the project partners have the following objectives:

  • Expand its training offer in this area, developing and testing a kit of MOOC courses (Massive Online Open Course) on management skills of research activities and Open Science practices, intended for university students, in order to improve their skills and competences related to research, collaboration and cooperation.

  • Increase the knowledge on current Open Science Practices and Research skills of the project participants
  • Foster HEI’s capacity for collaboration with other institutions

  • Boost the usability – relevance – adequacy – sustainability of the program by engaging and sharing ownership with relevant actors, experts and stakeholders at local and regional level.

RESULTS

During the project, the consortium undertakes to produce:

  • eLearning course on Essential Researchers’ Skills: development of project management skills, budget, team and data management, IT skills, networking, time management, communication and presentation

  • eLearning course on Open Science Skills: a comprehensive approach to “Open Science-related elements for Researchers”.

  • Trainers’ Training Manual: a manual for trainers on how to implement and deliver the program

eLearning Platform: a digital space to support the learning process (e-learning material and assessment tools).
